Welcome
Hi, thanks for your curiosity.
I’m an artist and art educator based on the North Norfolk coast.
My work explores how colour, mark and process can capture a sense of place and experience. I’m currently working mainly in watercolour — a medium I love for its directness, unpredictability and energy.
I trained in Printed Textiles at Chelsea College of Art & Design and began my career creating hand-painted designs for clients such as John Lewis and Laura Ashley. After several years working freelance and raising a young family, my creative interests naturally expanded into community projects and art education. I discovered how rewarding it is to share creativity with others — and how teaching can feed and enrich my own practice.
Since qualifying as an Art, Design & Technology teacher (QTS), I’ve worked with people of all ages and now lead art courses and workshops across North Norfolk. My sessions are relaxed and hands-on, encouraging experimentation and confidence through process rather than perfection.
For me, teaching and making belong together — both are about curiosity, play, and finding joy in the act of creating
