Exploring Collage

2 hr
25 British pounds
Bodham Village Hall

About this workshop

Collage is one of the most exciting and widely used approaches in contemporary art today. From bold colour compositions to subtle layered still life, artists are constantly reinventing what paper can do. In this workshop, we’ll explore how collage works in current practice and try out our own approaches in a relaxed, supportive setting. Using a mix of papers, printed materials and painted surfaces, you’ll experiment with composition, colour, texture and layering to create your own finished piece. No experience needed — just curiosity and a willingness to try. All materials provided. Practical details: Bodham Village Hall has its own parking, good disabled access (including accessible toilet facilities), and is a comfortable, welcoming space to work in. Tea and coffee are available at the venue. If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch.
